Hey! I took a little blogging break as we were busy having a super fun fall! It has been jam packed with activity but we had so.much.fun. I have the week off and I have been working on getting the house Christmas ready. We will be doing an advent calendar again this year and I wanted to show you where I put it and how I put it up. I am also going to link to the free printable that I created last year (which I used again this year). Without further ado, here is my 2017 advent calendar + printable.
This is the first year that I am doing an advent calendar with the kids and I am looking forward to it becoming a fun tradition! At 6 and almost 3 years old, I think these activities will be really meaningful for all of us to do together. I don’t know if you have ever tried to think of 24 activities that you would actually be able and willing to do but it is not as easy as you would think! So I decided to make my version available for you as free printables (my birthday present to you:))!
Sorry other seasons, but Fall is my favorite child. I LOVE everything about it. I am taking an inventory of all my scarves because the second the temp dips below 65 F, I am going to wear like 3 scarves just to celebrate. But since it is only mid-August and that is not going to happen for a few weeks, I thought I could at least start some fall decorating with making a few fall printables. And I thought I would share them with you.
I am switching up some decor for the summer. Sometimes I find it tough to decide what decor to use in the summer. Usually after the holidays I try to declutter the place after I take down all the Christmas madness. It feels great to do that in January. But by the time April and May come around, I kind of miss all the holiday cuteness. I wanted to infuse something easy and fun into my bookshelf in our living room for summer and decided some camp printables would be perfect. (Now don’t go getting the wrong idea and think I love camping. No worries, friends. I am still the same person you have always known. I just happen to think that camping things are cute. And our summers now include 1-2 camping trips with the kiddos, you know, for creating memories;))
